Piano recital

On Wednesday, July 31, pianist and Argentine conductor Fernando Palomeque will give a Scarlatti-Beethoven-Chopin-Debussy-Ginastera piano recital in the gardens of Agathos, followed by a celebration to celebrate the 30 years of the residence.

An evening in Spain

Thursday, August 1st, tenor Benjamin Alunni, winner of the Friends of the Aix-en-Provence Festival Award and pianist Fernando Palomeque will take us from Paris to Madrid and Buenos Aires during the recital Anochecer en Espana - An evening in Spain, at Castellas, a Provençal bastide on the banks of the Agay River

This young festival therefore took as its theme the Mediterranean that borders Agathos, Mediterranean civilization and the sea more generally. Each concert begins at 9pm and is followed by a friendly and convivial drink bringing together the artists and the audience, which prolongs the celebration into the night and is a great success. 2018 : Marie-Christine Barrault

  • On July 30, 2018, the famous actress Marie-Christine Barrault and the accordionist Pascal Contet honored us with their presence during a reading of texts by Antoine de Saint-Exupery "De la terre aux étoiles" - taken from Lettres à sa mère,Letters to a hostage, Lettres à un otage, Vol de nuit et de Terre des hommes - in dialogue with the accordion, which gathered 200 people on the lawn of the holiday
  • 2017 : Giacomo Refolo

  • On August 1st, 2017 the pianist Giacomo Refolo was the first artist to produce this work. From the Conservatory of Rome and former holidaymaker of Agathos with his family, he performed pieces by Bach, Chopin, Schubert and Rachmaninoff.
  • This beautiful musical moment took place in front of 100 people in the garden on the beach.
